“The David” has a a very complex, rich and integrated flavor. Merlot and Cabernet Franc give it spicy notes, the Sangiovese gives it elegance, and the Petite Sirah lends the powerful structure that characterize this wine.
Notes of coffee, cocao, sage, dark chocolate, and ripe fruit give this wine an impressive character and distinctive flavor.
Bright fruit, spice, texture, and all of the tannin is a hallmark of the high elevation vineyards of Lake County. The dark fruits, old world characters and dried herbs come from the lower elevations of north Napa County.
